What we track

• The adopted budget, year over year — what grew and what got cut
• Bond programs: what was promised, what was built, what is left
• Deferred maintenance on buildings the city already owns
• Incentives, abatements, and other money paid out to private parties

How we work

• Every figure links to the city document it came from
• Analysis is labeled as analysis and kept separate from the numbers
• Corrections are posted, not quietly edited
